        Tuanku Abdul Rahman was Malaysia first Prime Minister.He was born on 8 February 1903 in aAor Setar ,Kedah.Although he is blue blood,but he loved freedom and mingled with the other children.He enrolled in Malay School in Alor Setar before persuing studies in Goverment English School.

         Tunku was sent to Bangkok at the ege of ten to be tended by his eldest brother,Tunku Yusuf for his playful habit and mischief.In Bangkok,Tunku adjusted himself well.He had good relationship with other students in debsurin school,who came from different races and background.

        At the age of twelve,Tunku returned to Kedah for Tunku Yusuf passed away.Once he got back,he studied in at Penang Free School and left England at the age of seventeen. He enrolled in St. Catherine's College,Cambridge University,which where he gained experience to fight for Malaya freedom from the British occupation.

Dear Seth,

         How are you,buddy?.I heard that your softball team had beaten SMK Raja Muda Musa at district level final.Congrats,pal!By the way,I hope you and the rest of your family are doing fine.Don't worry for i'm in a pink of health although I'm at the state of misery for the examination is just aroud the corner.You might be suprised for receiving this letter for I hadn't written to you for ages.For your information,the reason I wrote this letter is to tell you about a campaign which took place last month in order to beautify my housing estate.

         The campaign which was carried on for a week was lead by the residential chief,Encik Abbas Hazwan.It started with the effort of clearing drains around the neighbourhood.Most volunteers were teenagers including myself.We cleared the drains which were not only smelt unpleasently but clogged by numerous rubbish,from water bottles to sweet wrappers.It took up to five hours before the water could flow clearly.

        After lunch,the campaign continued.This time,we picked up rubbish aroud the public amenities such as playground,community hall and bus stops.You couldn't imagine how many rubbish we had picked up.The next day,the adults who were assisted by the youngsters painted old and faded benches at the park and the playground.The benches were painted in vibrant colours such as lime green and mustard yellow.After being painted,the park and the playground looked alive.

        The ladies also lent their hands to beautify the estate.They planted a lot of flowering plants which were bought at the nearby nursery.It took two days for the ladies to accomplishthe gardening work and the outcome was eye capturing. The neighbourhood was flourished by vivid flowers like roses,azalea,daisy,morning glory and chrysanthemum.

        On the last day of the campaign,the residents joined hand in hand repairing the playground equipments.They repaired the swings,slides and see-saw in a couple of hours,and the children could play there without any doubt.

Hi Joshi,

              How are you?It's been a while since we wrote,so I though I'd drop you a line to bring you up to date with what has been happening here.

              A lot has happened since you left.I've been very busy with school work and after-school activities.Stress has caused pimples to errupt! Urgh! I also got into trouble with my dad for hogging the telephone.He has restricted my telephone talk and my time on the internet.I'm obeying because he's firm. However,the good news is my mother approves of me. She defended me when my aunt criticized me and compare me with my cousin Dina. I was over the moon when I heard about it.

              The sad news is that my grandmother had a fall. She was not badly injured but I still stayed for a week.Don't laugh, Joshi but I'm getting fat.I've been snacking a lot because of my stress.Now. I'm trying to lose weight by not eating rice.Instead I eat a lot of vegetables and meat.My parents think I look alright but my clothes are getting tight! Asyraf had a whale of a time telling me that I look like a hippopotamus from behind.It motivated me to try my hardest to lose weight.You would feel the same too if you had a brother like that.

               I miss you Joshi.it's not much fun when you're not around.I hardly play badminton nowadays because I have no partner,I can't wait for the holidays to see you again.I'm planning a short trip for us to go to Pulau Rawa.Are you interest?.Ming Seng and Indirani also interested in joining us. Obviously they think this is great too,as it's mean we can relax and spend some time catching up to our latest news.I need a break from my brother.He's such a pest.My uncle own some holiday chalets and he has agreed to let us stay in one for a while.You'll come too, won't you?,

              So,what about you this days? Are you still stuck in your school activities?.Since I've been having such trouble finding time to rest too.I understand your situation.There's nothing worse than having to obediently follow a piece of paper regarding our activities,with no idea of what it will lead to.

Dear Joshi,

                     How are you coping your life with your new school?.I hope you're in the pink of health.Before I forget,I would like to congrat you for being selected to study in a residential school.By the way,I'm as fit as a fiddle.The purpose I write this letter is to share with you about the events that have happened since you left school for boarding school.

                    In late february,I'm busy with many activities such as monthly test,sport practises and tuition.All the activities drive me crazy as I lack rest and sleep.Maybe one day I will become a zombie.My face also is covered with pimples.I had tried many ways but never works.This make me stressed. So, buddy I hope you will give me some tips to overcome my stress.

                  In April,Ibu approved of me and defended me when my aunt, Makcik Rosnah criticised me.She compared me wiht my cousin ,Dina who is always good in everything but my mother didn't mind because she liked the way I am.I felt very happy and thank mother for that.

               On that month also,Nenek had a bad fall.I felt symphaty for her as she was my first babysitter.I tried to be by her side untill she get well.For me, Nenek is lucky because she had no broken bones although she had bruises.So,I'm grateful to god for saving my grandmother from any bad injuries.

               Lastly,in late February,I have a problem with my weight.I'm so stress because my irritating younger brother said that I looked like a hippo from a back.So,I decided to diet.There were no rice for me and just vegetables.I hope you're here to help me with my problems.

           Well buddy,I think I have to pen off now, if not you'll have to read my letter for the whole month.Take care buddy and be prepared for your examination which is just around a corner.Send my regards to your family and if I have a chance I will visit you in your new school.
